I have to pat myself on the back for having absolute ADD. My ability to be so easily distracted should be commended.

Right, so after playing Ultimate Ninja for God knows how long, I got on a long-overdue Kakashi high. And oh, it was really bad. I've had my eyes on this image for awhile now (thank ya, Ivy), and I finally found the motivation to vector it.

So, yesterday, I went berserk. 9 hours later, ta da! This was the first time I've done a complete line-by-line vector, methinks, and I'm fairly pleased with the result. But OMG, my legs hurt soooo badly afterward. Brutal, but worth it. Too bad I can't color for my life.

I loved it so much, actually, that I made a wallpaper too! Of course, it was a total half-assed job, because I rawk like that. The entire BG was ripped from a very old Hitsu-chan wall I did in collab with one of my friends; since my friend did the BG, I'm not calling this wall my own, hence the screenshot format.

OH. And for those who are aware of the second Bleach movie, I have the FREAKIEST thing to show you. I have two Hitsu-chan wallpapers dated waaaay back in 2006 (first one is actually 2005) that SCARILY coincide with the announced plotline.

Anyway, yes, that ends my suckage for today. I'm going to hurry and finish up fukanzen for tonight's opening. It sucks though that I'll disappear for a week due to family coming. Oh well. T^T

Soooooooooooo.........what to say? OMG. OMG. OMG. MY CHILDHOOD HAS RETURNED. My friend decided it would be a good idea to invest in Pokemon Diamond, and decided TO GET ME ONE. I'm an addict....it's disturbing. Seriously, to be in the ranks of nerds is sooo refreshing like you can't believe. T_T

Bummer for me is that I can't get colored contacts this year. *dies* How am I supposed to be Lelouch without purple eyes, dammit?!?! Stupid contact prescription....

But on better news...I SAW ENDSCAPE TODAY!!!!!!!!! *dies again* It's a fabulous song, truly. And the PV was quite beautiful. But you know what made it ten times better than it already was? This! I knew that Kiku was real, but no one would believe me! HAHAHAHAHAHA. *cough cough* So anyway, my life is now 70% complete. Plzkthx.

Wow, this entry made absolutely no sense at all, but oh well. My mind is all jumbled right now after seeing the HAND-HOLDING. I need to seriously write some of kind of fic that makes no sense. Apologies for randomness. ~_~

I don't usually update on the weekdays, but oh well, I've got nothing better to do. XD

I've actually been meaning to write about fangirling at one point or another. With my friends, as of late, I've been more open in terms of fangirling, but I can still tell that they're not all the way comfortable with my random squeals and thoughts.

Since the dawn of my fangirldom I've been trying to figure out what it is that's disturbing about what we do. It's not like it's unnatural (I don't think). Though, what I hear from my friends in terms of my anime fangirling is that I gush and faint over fictional characters, which is "wrong"; calling said characters "hot" or any variation of the word is also considered that.

I've personally never had found anything wrong with going gaga over anime characters (hence why I do it), which is why it's difficult for me (especially when I was younger), to understand why it's a no-no. Believe it or not, back then, people used to look down on it, and it led me to enter a shell for a time at school so that people wouldn't make fun of me. At one point I even tried forcing myself to stop fangirling entirely.

Ha! As if that would last long at all, lol. I couldn't resist the urges, so I silently fangirled in the corners of my mind. It was only until this year, I think, that I was able to come out of my shell because one of my friends became more open about the whole thing. Well, she's not much of a fangirl herself, but she doesn't mind me when I do it, which is good enough.

So, dear FL-lovelies, what do you make of this? Have you ever been mocked for fangirling over fictional character? Similarly, how do you feel about fangirling in general, how important is it to you?

To quickly give my thoughts on the last part of the final question, fangirling is an everyday occurrence for me, and I think it's actually influenced my personality in one respect or another. It's a very easy way to express feelings, I think, which makes it a GREAT way to relieve stress. And overall it's just plain fun. :P
