I have to pat myself on the back for having absolute ADD. My ability to be so easily distracted should be commended.

Right, so after playing Ultimate Ninja for God knows how long, I got on a long-overdue Kakashi high. And oh, it was really bad. I've had my eyes on this image for awhile now (thank ya, Ivy), and I finally found the motivation to vector it.

So, yesterday, I went berserk. 9 hours later, ta da! This was the first time I've done a complete line-by-line vector, methinks, and I'm fairly pleased with the result. But OMG, my legs hurt soooo badly afterward. Brutal, but worth it. Too bad I can't color for my life.

I loved it so much, actually, that I made a wallpaper too! Of course, it was a total half-assed job, because I rawk like that. The entire BG was ripped from a very old Hitsu-chan wall I did in collab with one of my friends; since my friend did the BG, I'm not calling this wall my own, hence the screenshot format.

OH. And for those who are aware of the second Bleach movie, I have the FREAKIEST thing to show you. I have two Hitsu-chan wallpapers dated waaaay back in 2006 (first one is actually 2005) that SCARILY coincide with the announced plotline.

Anyway, yes, that ends my suckage for today. I'm going to hurry and finish up fukanzen for tonight's opening. It sucks though that I'll disappear for a week due to family coming. Oh well. T^T

Woot! I just got back from my first ever anime con! *rejoices*

Overall the entire thing was really very interesting. I unfortunately didn't get to do much as far the the discussions and panels went, since I came in very late and I couldn't properly participate (I went with my mom, and I just felt a little awkward about participating in stuff like that). We walked around the Dealer's Room a couple of times, and boy, so much expense and not enough money. With the $30 I brought, I was able to get three things (all of which, not surprisngly, are Bleach-related). I got:

• Medium-sized Byakuya Plushie ($10) -  Holy crap, it just isn't possible to imagine how cute it is! The second I saw it I started gushing like the rabid Byakuya fan girl I am. I was torn between him and the adorable Hitsu-chan plushie, but I made up for that later. *snuggles my Kuya-kun*
  
• Small Urahara Plushie ($5)- Shortly after gushing over Byakuya, I started "aww"-ing when I saw the Urahara plushie. It was so cute and tiny that I just had to have it. He has the fan and everything. 
• Hitsugaya Toushiro Ring ($20) - I actually don't know the true name of the product, but that's basically what it is. It's some kind of promotional ring that Hitsugaya wears in casual clothing; lucky for me I grabbed the last one. There was a Rukia one also, which was a butterfly, but I wanted to make sure I had the Hitsu-chan spirit!
  

There were so many other things I wanted, but it was all so expensive. I saw two super-awesome Samurai Champloo messenger bags that I would have killed for, but sadly they were $30 a piece. Similarly, there were some imported items, which I believe were Vice-Captain badges, but they were also $30 a piece. I have firmly resolved to come prepared financially in my next convention.

After a long, long, long break from fan fic writing, I decided to write one for Bleach. The series was too inspiring to be left alone.

I've already written the first chapter, and I'm actually pretty pleased with myself. I'm really considering publication for this one, but I REALLY need it to be beta-ed to atleast make sure it's the least bit interesting. Plus, my writing skills aren't exactly the sharpest tools in the drawer.

If you're interested in beta-ing for me, here are some details:

Requirements:

1. Must follow Bleach, or at least know what it's about. A lot of plot details revolve around Bleach mechanics and storyline, so if you don't know these things, I really can't take the time to explain them to you.
2. Have some experience in writing. I need someone who can really point out my mistakes and help me improve my writing.
3. Please be friendly and patient. I'm still a young writer and I don't have much knowledge yet. Don't bash or flame me when I don't get something right the first time, or just don't understand you.
4. Have a workable schedule. I want to be sure that you can help me when I need your help. If you have 5 million things to do everyday, then maybe we shouldn't add this onto your list.

Warnings:

1. This fic contains an Original Character.
2. It is written in first person.
3. Chapters tend to be on the lengthy side.
4. Contains a lot of speculation on certain Bleach mechanics (hint: the first chapter involves the graduation of a shinigami)
5. As far as I'm planning, the fic is spoiler-free, though I may make a reference to the Aizen arc. If you haven't seen it, you might want to watch/read it first.
